 At AJ Care Transport, we are dedicated to providing safe, professional, and courteous service to all passengers. This policy outlines our standards for driver behavior, passenger protection, and how we handle complaints, ensuring consistent, lawful, and respectful service.

Overview

AJ Care Transport LLC is committed to the highest level of safety and reliability. As part of this commitment, we enforce a strict Zero-Tolerance Policy regarding the use of alcohol, illegal drugs, or impairing substances by any driver while on duty. This policy applies to all staff, contractors, and representatives of the company.

Who It Applies To

This policy includes all drivers and personnel operating under AJ Care Transport. It covers not only drug and alcohol use but also misuse of medications that may hinder a driver’s ability to safely perform their job.

What’s Not Allowed

Under no circumstances may any AJ Care Transport driver:

• Drive while impaired by alcohol or drugs
• Use, carry, or distribute alcohol or drugs during work hours or while in a company vehicle
• Begin work while under the influence of any substance — legal or illegal — that affects alertness or safety
• Refuse a company-requested drug or alcohol test when necessary
   

If you suspect that a driver is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, we urge you to report it immediately. All reports are taken seriously and handled with confidentiality in line with legal standards.

Once a complaint is received, an investigation will begin right away. If a driver is suspected of violating this policy, they may be suspended during the review. Proven violations can result in termination and may be reported to legal or regulatory authorities as required.

All drivers receive training on our Zero-Tolerance Policy as part of onboarding. Refresher training is provided regularly to maintain awareness. Each driver’s file includes signed acknowledgment and training records.

This policy is available on our official website and can also be provided in writing upon request. AJ Care Transport is committed to transparency and keeping public and passenger safety a top priority.

Drivers with AJ Care Transport are expected to:

• Maintain a clean appearance and polite demeanor
• Be trained in safely assisting passengers with mobility challenged
• Drive responsibly and follow all road safety regulations
• Pass thorough background and driving history checks before operating any vehicle
   

To ensure a safe ride for everyone:

• All riders are required to wear seatbelts
• Vehicles are routinely inspected and kept in excellent condition
• Wheelchair-accessible vans are equipped with safety restraints and lift systems
• Drivers ensure mobility devices are secured before starting transport
